iPathik is an independent service. It is not affiliated with IRCTC or Indian Railways.

What we do

We search trains and book reserved railway tickets on your behalf. Travel is governed by the rules of Indian Railways, including its rules on tickets, identity proof, cancellation and refunds.

Booking

• Enter passenger names, ages and other details exactly as on their identity proof. Passengers must carry that proof when travelling.
• Seats are held for 10 minutes while you pay. An unpaid hold expires and the seats are released.
• Waitlisted and RAC tickets are paid in full. A waitlisted ticket that is not confirmed by the time the chart is prepared is cancelled and refunded.
• Fares are set by Indian Railways. Any service charge we add is shown before you pay.

Payment

Payments are taken by our payment partners (Paytm, PhonePe). We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.

Food orders

Food is supplied and charged by the vendor at the station; we pass your order on.

Our responsibility

We are responsible for booking what you asked for and refunding what is due. We are not responsible for train delays, cancellations, changes of platform or the service on board, which are the railway's.

Your account

Keep your password private. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
